Terms of Service

Basic terms for using the current early version of Japanese Idiom Memory.

Last updated: April 17, 2026

By using Japanese Idiom Memory, you acknowledge these basic terms. They are intentionally simple for the current early-stage product.

What the service provides

The service is operated by an individual developer under the project name Japanese Idiom Memory. You can contact the project at lyong3424@gmail.com.

The service provides Japanese idiom browsing, short level-based study, spaced review, bilingual meanings, example sentences, and browser-based Japanese speech playback.

Some features require Google sign-in. After sign-in, learning progress is stored with Supabase.

Learning content

Meanings, examples, and translations are provided for learning support and may be revised over time. We do not promise that all content is error-free or suitable for any specific exam, school, or professional use.

You are responsible for deciding whether the learning content fits your goals.

Account use

You should sign in with your own Google account and follow the relevant rules of Google and Supabase.

Do not attempt to break, bypass, abuse, or interfere with sign-in, data sync, analytics, or normal site operation.

Availability and changes

This is an early public project. Features, content, pages, and data structures may change. The service may also be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, configuration issues, or third-party service outages.

If these terms materially change, we will try to update the date and content on this page.

Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is, without additional promises about learning outcomes, continuous availability, or content suitability.

If you need formal instruction, exam preparation, translation, or language judgment for legal or business use, consult an appropriate professional or organization.
